Backpacks are on and buses are in route– school is back in session! You know what that means: packed lunches are back on the to-do list. While packing lunches may feel like a chore, and options may seem repetitive, bringing lunch from home is often a more nutritious option than relying on school-provided lunches. And there are plenty of easy, healthy school lunch recipes out there– check out this Kurbo Cookbook for a bunch of ideas! Packing lunch gives you the power to pack it full of yellow and green lights, while many cafeteria options are red lights.

Have the family sit down at some point during the weekend to plan out lunch options for the week that will keep everyone full and excited about their lunch! This will reduce game-time stress and make prep easier.
